Redgey Fun Fact #3
Four of the five feathers on Redgey's head represents The Synergist Group's four EDGE Modules; Education EDGE, Development EDGE, Growth EDGE, and Experience EDGE.
Despite being a child of alcoholic, abusive parents, a young boy named Roger learned early in his life to make choices that would assure success instead of failure, hope instead of despair, and a strong determination to lead others onto a smoother path.
As a way of coping with a less than stellar upbringing, doodling became a unique way to escape the daily hardships. One day, the lines drawn took the shape of a silly looking bird who then etched a steadfast companionship and friendship in Roger's young mind.
This stick figure with no name allowed a young child to use his imagination to create positive thoughts and ideas which have carried into his adult life. Now named Redgey, the drawing that once inspired a child to never give up, today symbolizes the purpose of this program; that of character education leadership development, and life skills.
The Synergist Group would like to thank Ingrid Pecca for bringing Redgey to life. We could not have done this without her.
